Nestled along a sweeping bend of the Tennessee River, we crafted the Tennessee River House, incorporating a courtyard and a stone parapet-walled residence. The design is filled with delightful surprises, such as a fireplace on the entry porch, a carriage house linked by a porte-cochère, and a secret garden adjacent to the main bedroom. Later additions included a “garage mahal” for sports cars and a steel-windowed garden room, complemented by the planting of approximately one hundred fifty trees to enhance the site’s connection to its natural surroundings.
